My Favorite Holiday

      My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. One reason why I love Thanksgiving is the fall weather, smells, and colors.  It is kind of strange I like Thanksgiving because I don’t like turkey, dressing, or corn. But, I do love the fact that you have a day where everyone is grateful for what they have. I hate when people put up Christmas decorations BEFORE Thanksgiving! It’s like they just skip a major holiday!  I also like the decorations for Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for Thanksgiving! What is your favorite holiday?

Another 11 year old girl wants to be an engineer when she grows up.  Engineers are people who design, invent, and build materials that will help people do things better.  Engineers work together as a team to make these products. This girl wants to be an engineer because she likes solving problems and finding answers.  She is good at math, science, and handling electronics. I think this girl will make a great engineer! Keep studying and believe in yourself!
